Positioning at great heights
The OS is a compact and versatile counterbalance beam, specifically developed to solve complex lifting challenges. In cases where crane capacity is limited or standard lifting tools fall short, the OS offers a reliable solution. This tool is perfectly suited for lifting smaller loads, even in tight spaces or under demanding site conditions. It also enables lifting without the use of a tagline, reducing the risk of unsafe situations.
Function & Capabilities
The OS features a modular design with adjustable insert arms and counterweights, allowing it to be adapted to a wide range of situations. It is especially useful for:
- Placing relatively small loads with precision
- Lifting when crane capacity is limited
- Safely positioning construction materials at height, such as façades, prefab elements, or stair elements
- Extending the reach of your crane in complex site layouts
- Lifting underneath roofs or other overhead structures
These capabilities make the OS ideal for residential construction, prefab systems, and other projects where precision and efficiency are key.
Typical Use Cases
- Bringing construction materials inside through façade openings
- Hoisting concrete, glass, or heavy materials
- Horizontal lifting and positioning of building elements
Operation & Safety
Thanks to its compatibility with various lifting attachments – such as a Swivel Hook, Spreader Beam, Brick Clamp, or Vacuum Unit – the OS offers maximum flexibility. Its modular counterweight system ensures stability and allows for fine-tuned adjustment to each lifting situation. It can operate safely without taglines, minimizing the risk of swinging loads in tight conditions.
All products meet the latest safety standards and are regularly inspected by certified professionals in accordance with the AMTeK system, in collaboration with Aboma.
Variants
For heavier loads, refer to our range of counterbalance beams. For even more precise placement in tight areas, consider using our RC counterbalance beams.
