Positioning at great heights
The MS is a robust and adaptable counterbalance beam, purpose-built for lifting heavy loads in demanding construction environments. With multiple arm options and adjustable counterweights, the MS provides a modular solution for precise inward lifting within the façade line or for stable placement of large building elements.
Function & Capabilities
The MS rotates around a central axis beneath the crane hook, enabling smooth and predictable positioning of the load – even in windy conditions or tight job sites. Its strength and ease of control make it ideal for situations where both lifting power and precision are critical.
This counterbalance beam serves as a flexible platform and can be equipped with various lifting accessories such as:
- A swivel hook for multidirectional lifting
- A lifting yoke (spreader beam) for even load distribution
- A frame fork for handling window frames
- A vacuum unit for safely hoisting glass or other fragile materials
For extreme lifting scenarios, two MS units can be paired beneath a single lifting beam, significantly increasing the working load limit. This makes the MS particularly suited for heavy lifting in:
- Residential construction
- Prefabricated building systems
- Façade installation and structural elements
Accessories & Custom Options
The MS is compatible with a wide range of lifting tools, allowing it to adapt to project-specific challenges. It supports interchangeable arms, customized counterweights, and flexible connection options to fit various crane and element configurations.
Operation & Safety
All products meet the latest safety standards and are regularly inspected by certified professionals in accordance with the AMTeK system, in collaboration with Aboma.
Variants
For even tighter placement or increased reach in constrained environments, the RC counterbalance beam may offer improved precision. For lighter loads or shorter reach, one of our other counterbalance beams may be more efficient.
