Positioning at great heights

Back to overview
CS Insertion up to 4.1 m Working load up to 6500 kg

The CS is a powerful and versatile counterbalance beam, specifically designed for inserting heavy loads directly within the façade line during lifting operations. With a selection of interchangeable arms and adjustable ballast, the CS provides a highly adaptable solution for complex construction scenarios requiring both precision and efficiency.

Function & Capabilities
Thanks to its compact build, the CS requires minimal overhead clearance beneath the crane hook – ideal for tight lifting environments. Its ability to rotate around a central axis allows for predictable, controlled movements, even under challenging conditions such as lifting in windy environments. This makes the CS not only functional, but also operator-friendly.

Available in three capacities – 2500, 5000, and 6500 kg – the CS is suitable for a wide range of heavy-duty lifting tasks, including:

  • Inserting loads beneath roof structures or into sheltered areas
  • Lifting and placing façades, including prefabricated wall panels
  • Hoisting concrete, glass, or other heavy building materials
  • Placing construction materials on elevated levels
  • Controlled horizontal movement and placement of elements

Accessories & Custom Options
The CS can be equipped with a variety of lifting attachments such as spreader beams, clamps, or vacuum lifters. Its modular design ensures flexibility across various lifting scenarios, making it the ideal tool for:

  • Horizontal lifting and placement of façade or structural elements
  • Controlled inward placement of building materials
  • Precision lifting below hook level, ensuring safe alignment

Variants

For loads that exceed the reach of the CS, consider using one of our other counterbalance beams. If even greater placement accuracy or stability is required in tight spaces, the RC counterbalance beam offers superior control with its extended reach and stability.
