The mast section clamp is specifically developed for the efficient and safe handling of crane mast sections, such as those from the Potain K609A or Liebherr 500 HC. Ideal for (de)assembling mast sections directly on the construction site.
Function & Capabilities
The clamp is attached to the crane hook via a four-leg sling and is operated by remote control. This allows the crane operator to clamp and lift the mast section independently, without manual assistance — significantly improving both speed and safety.
Suitable for:
- Stacking and unstacking crane mast sections
- Lifting heavy mast segments up to 14,500 kg
- Use during tower crane assembly and disassembly
Operation & Safety
The clamp automatically locks around the mast section and prevents movement during lifting. Remote operation reduces the need for personnel to be near the load, minimizing on-site risk.
