Sustainable business operations

We have taken a serious look at making our production process and housing more sustainable. In 2018, we moved to a new location, designed and delivered without the use of natural gas. The facility uses a heat pump that extracts cold or warm particles from the air surrounding the building to provide heating or cooling as needed. The offices and production hall are equipped with underfloor heating, ensuring a comfortable temperature from the ground up. With the production hall being 14 meters high, this setup creates a pleasant working environment at floor level.

All lighting in the facility is LED, offering the significant advantages of long lifespan and low energy consumption. Additionally, we have installed solar panels on the roof to enhance self-sufficiency. This allows us to use the electricity we generate during the day for our production processes. Where possible, our equipment and vehicle fleet have also been converted to electric.

Throughout this process, we have carefully considered opportunities to collaborate with companies specializing in their own areas of expertise. By leveraging these partnerships and focusing on our core strengths, we aim to guide the sustainability transition effectively.

Transport is carried out in collaboration with partners who operate under the CO2 Performance Ladder, measuring and working to reduce their CO2 emissions annually. Our metalworking partner is now energy self-sufficient and operates without producing any CO2 emissions. Together, we are working towards a smaller ecological footprint.

Sustainable communication

With our suppliers and customers, we are able to communicate openly and honestly about sustainability, as required in industries such as construction, shipbuilding, offshore, and petrochemicals. By collaboratively addressing sustainability and shaping the guidelines set by clients, we are gradually improving work processes step by step.

By allowing ourselves to be informed and guided by independent specialized engineers, we aim to implement a meaningful transformation.
